General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM is a three-year diploma programme designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. The programme teaches candidates how to care for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery.
The main purpose of the undergraduate degree in Nursing, is to provide an educational programme, through which graduates will be prepared to assume the responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of people, as professional nurses. B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) is a two-year duration undergraduate course in nursing. Nurses are healthcare professionals who often work in hospitals or outpatient facilities to provide hands-on care to patients by monitoring their medical condition, administering medications, maintaining records and communicating with doctors.
M.Sc. Nursing is a two year program which specializes in many branches; such as Medical Surgical Nsg, Community Health Nsg, Mental Health Nsg, Paediatric Nsg, OBG Nsg etc.
